Come on In!

Culture

There are many facets unbeknown to us as a people. We were stolen, robbed and disconnected from our lineage, our spirituality, our food, our dance, our very way of BEing/existing in this world. Enter here and discover that which was out of reach for so very long.

Language

The native tongue of the Fula/Fulani people is Pular (Fuuta Jallon). Here you will find a playlist of 24 in depth videos that coincide with the workbook. Take your time with this journey of discovery. One day we’ll speak to each other in our native tongue.

Our Village

In February of 2023, I stepped foot in our ancestral village. I had been at that time, the 3rd person to ever return. There has been several since. I was embraced, and welcomed home. Let us come together to build, create, organize, fundraise, and connect to our tribe. There are many future projects that we can come together on to help our village in terms of restorations and updates. I’ve placed a few pictures and videos here for that purpose.

Below is the missing bridge that is mentioned in the video. Before the marketplace is restored, the bridge must be so that people could come across to shop.
